Tomato Glean 9-14-15

Folks, these are gorgeous tomatoes! Come on out and see for yourself! Take a few home, too.

Meet at the field by 8:30 am

Mountain Research Station
265 Test Farm Rd, Waynesville, NC 28786

Directions:
From Main St in downtown Waynesville, turn onto Pigeon Rd (Hwy 276) and drive 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Ratcliff Rd and drive .7 miles. Turn left onto Test Farm Rd. The tomatoes are in the first field on the right. Parking is on the left side of the road across from the field.

This glean has specific field instructions so please do NOT begin gleaning until instructed to do so by the Glean Manager.

Bring:
Boxes (sturdy, medium size), sun protection, drinking water and gloves. Ingles milk boxes are best.

As always, please feel free to bring out-of-town guests and/or kids to the gleans. It’s fun for the whole family!

Wear:
Shoes suitable for uneven ground and/or muddy conditions

Weather:
Assume the glean is ON unless otherwise notified via email since it may be raining at your home but not at the field.
