UPDATE: 3/15/15
The Seed Potato Project was a resounding success! The “potato girls” and their fabulous helpers gave away over 12,000 pounds of seed potatoes. Congrats and gratitude to Mary Alice Lodico and Marian Phalin for all their hard work and dedication to this project.

It’s REALLY cold out here—are we really up for this? Are the customers really going to come out in this cold and rain???!

Randall Crouch, our Number One Volunteer!

The potato girls – end of Day 1 – Can you believe everyone came who said they would except ONE person!? Over 8,000 pounds given out.

Thank Goodness, and Donna Koger, for this nifty canopy which kept us and the potatoes nice and dry on a rainy day! Randall, Mary Alice and Dylan–Randall’s son who was also a huge help.

Randall and Mary Alice with the other potato girl, Marian. We did a block buster business with many people walking up to take potatoes. Second day’s total brought us to over 12,000 pounds distributed including deliveries in the week to come.
